Dissecting genius.

This post I want to talk about the beautiful song Strawberry Fields by the Beatles. I want to dissect how absolutely ingenious this song is or at least the end of it is. I recommend reading the lyrics and watching the song yourself, My favorite cover of this song with lyrics is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrrSH6P7eDw&feature=related

Now the quality that comes off from this more than anything else is it perfectly creates a setting of childlike haze. You don't really have any idea what the real intent is and the state of yes and no, of positive to negative flips back and forth so quickly. Namely in the last section

"Always, no sometimes, think it's me, but you know I know when it's a dream.
I think I know I mean a 'Yes' but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree.
Let me take you down, 'cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields.
Nothing is real and nothing to get hungabout.
Strawberry Fields forever.
Strawberry Fields forever."
